Billing & Refunds

SoloFlow subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required. After the trial, subscriptions are $29/month and can be canceled anytime from your Settings page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start tracking time?

Go to the Timer page, select a matter from the dropdown, and click Start. When you're done, click Stop. The time entry is saved automatically, rounded to the nearest 0.1 hour (6 minutes).

How do I create an invoice?

Go to Invoices → New Invoice. Select a matter to pull up all unbilled time entries. Check the entries you want to include, set payment terms, and click Create Invoice.

How do my clients pay invoices?

Generate a payment link from the invoice detail view. Your client receives an email with a link to pay by credit card or ACH through Stripe. The invoice is automatically marked as paid.

What is the Trust / IOLTA ledger?

The Trust page tracks client retainer funds in compliance with IOLTA requirements. You can record deposits, earned transfers (from trust to operating), withdrawals, and refunds. Each client's balance is tracked separately.

What payment methods does SoloFlow accept?

SoloFlow subscriptions are processed through Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. Go to Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription. You can cancel anytime. Your account remains active until the end of the current billing period. The 14-day trial is free — no charge if you cancel during the trial.

How do I export my data?

Contact us at support@soloflow.work and we will provide a full export of your data including clients, matters, time entries, invoices, and trust transactions.

Is SoloFlow IOLTA-compliant?

SoloFlow provides per-client trust balance tracking with manual earned transfer confirmation, which supports IOLTA compliance. However, we recommend consulting your state bar's specific requirements. SoloFlow is a billing tool, not legal or compliance advice.
